About This Opportunity

The Distribution Center Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Distribution Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our warehouse operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and coordinate delivery reports, investigate and resolve missing deliveries, and ensure accurate tracking of shipments.
  • Act as a timekeeper for unionized employees, accurately recording and validating timecards in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries from employees, visitors, vendors, and the general public via phone and email.
  • Support administrative tasks, including booking meeting rooms, arranging catering, and distributing mail, as well as receiving and sending courier packages.
  • Assist with financial and operational analytics, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.
  • Coordinate vendor communications and payments, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of issues.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field is an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a business administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and SAP, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments and teams, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
  • Experience processing invoices, reconciling statements, and supporting senior management and leadership teams is highly desirable.
