Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

U-Save Center Inc is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage the receipt, storage, and shipment of inventory
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff to ensure efficient and accurate processing of inventory
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking
  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Work Setting:
  • Warehouse
  • Retail/wholesale establishment/distribution center
Tasks:
  • Oversee operational logistics of the organization
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
  • Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Train workers in duties and policies
  • Arrange training for staff
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
  • Organize and maintain inventory
