Key Responsibilities:- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that our restaurant meets all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure that our restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Supervision: Supervise a team of 5-10 employees, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their responsibilities and performing at their best.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, combining sitting, standing, and walking to meet the demands of the restaurant.
- Personal Suitability: Demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of your work.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees, and provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.
- Support for Youths: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth, and provide mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities to help them develop their skills and advance in their careers.
- Support for Visible Minorities: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, and offer mentorship programs and diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.
Requirements: 1-7 months of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in inventory management, customer service, and operations management. Fluency in English is required.
Working Conditions: 35-40 hours per week, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
