About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Autobody Painter with a strong portfolio to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting, blending paint hues, and administering paint using brushes, rollers, or spray guns.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing surfaces for painting by eliminating old paint, filling in holes, and fixing damage.
- Blending paint hues to attain the intended outcome.
- Administering paint onto surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray guns.
- Verifying adequate coverage and a flawless finish.
- Managing the upkeep of painting tools and equipment.
- Adhering to safety protocols and donning protective gear during work.
To be successful as an Autobody Painter at CSN MGI Collision, you must have:
- 1+ years of proven experience as an auto body painter with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in color mixing, surface preparation, and various painting techniques.
- Knowledge: Understanding of different types of paints, primers, and finishes, as well as their application methods.
- Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and address painting issues or imperfections effectively.
- Physical Stamina: Capability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
- A competitive salary ranging from $45,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
