Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in Trail, B.C. This is a full-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary and a range of benefits.

About the Role

As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will work in a supportive team environment and perform a variety of duties within the assigned discipline department. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting routine and complex tests using manual procedures and automated instruments
• Entering data into the Lab Information System (LIS) and related systems
• Validating and reporting test results
• Maintaining instruments, preparing solutions and control agents
• Contributing to training, evaluation and improvement programs

About Our Location

The Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital is a 75 bed acute care site located in Trail, between Grand Forks and Nelson. We offer a range of services, including core physician specialties, 24 hour emergency and trauma services, Level 2 laboratory, acute and obstetrical care, psychiatry, and chemotherapy.
