About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Apprentice Electrician to join our team at Starium Development Inc. as an Electrical Systems Technician. This is a permanent position that requires a strong foundation in electrical systems and a willingness to learn and grow with our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install electrical controls and panel boxes, ensuring all work is done to the highest standards and in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Repair and Replacement: Replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes, using a variety of tools and equipment to diagnose and fix issues.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including testing and measurement results.
  • Troubleshooting and Testing: Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical systems, using a range of techniques to identify and resolve issues.
  • Blueprint Reading and Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, often in a team setting, to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Language and Communication: Communicate effectively with colleagues and management, using clear and concise language to convey ideas and instructions.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
