Job Title: Snowplough Operator - Highway Maintenance

We are seeking a skilled Snowplough Operator to join our team at Emcon Services Inc. in highway maintenance.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate snowploughs and other equipment to maintain highways and ensure safe travel conditions.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including checking and lubricating equipment, and reporting any malfunctions to supervisors.
  • Drive various vehicles and equipment, including semi-trailer trucks and trailer trucks.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, often in cold and noisy conditions.
  • Meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting and bending.
Requirements:
  • Valid AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) and Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles).
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a variety of weather conditions.
