About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Accounting & Tax Avenue Inc. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Data Management: Prepare and maintain general ledgers, journals, and trial balances to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Accounts Management: Manage accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing clients and collecting payments.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Bookkeeping and Accounting: Perform bookkeeping and accounting tasks, including data entry, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and identify potential risks to the organization.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
