About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Repair Technician to join our team at Triple S Truck Repair Inc. As an Auto Body Repair Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and refinishing damaged vehicles to their original condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Maintain Workspace: Ensure a safe and organized work environment by cleaning and maintaining tools, equipment, and workspace.
  • Repair and Refinish Body Components: Replace front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components, and file, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired.
  • Hammer Out Dents and Defects: Use blocks and hammers to remove dents, buckles, and defects from vehicle bodies.
  • Remove and Replace Damaged Parts: Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills, and bolt or weld replacement parts into place.
  • Apply Primers and Paint: Apply primers and repaint surfaces to achieve a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair or Replace Interior Components: Repair or replace damaged interior components, including seats, carpets, and trim.
  • Repair or Replace Windows and Windshields: Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs.
  • Mix and Match Paint Colors: Mix paint to match colors and blend them to achieve a seamless finish.
  • Straighten Bent Frames: Use frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment to straighten bent frames.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Physically Demanding: Perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail to ensure high-quality repairs and finishes.
  • Flexibility and Initiative: Demonstrate flexibility and initiative to meet changing project requirements and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
