About the Job

As a Caregiving Professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, dignity, and well-being of our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to provide personal care and support, including administering medications, assisting with bathing and personal hygiene, and preparing meals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to ensure the physical and emotional comfort of clients
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting independence and dignity
  • Support clients in regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain mobility and strength
  • Feed or assist in feeding clients, ensuring they receive nutritious meals and snacks
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Provide personal care, including grooming and dressing assistance
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences
  • Cook meals for clients, using fresh ingredients and cooking techniques
  • Hold a First Aid Certificate, demonstrating your commitment to client safety
Work Requirements:
  • Work in a non-smoking environment, promoting a healthy and smoke-free workplace
  • Commit to working 30-40 hours per week, ensuring consistent support for clients
  • Enjoy a permanent work term, providing stability and security
  • Work primarily in English, communicating effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Target adult clients, providing tailored support to meet their unique needs
  • Bring at least 1 year of experience in caregiving or a related field, demonstrating your skills and expertise
  • Possess a secondary (high) school graduation certificate, meeting the minimum educational requirement
Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes opportunities for professional development, flexible scheduling, and a supportive work environment.
