About the Role
The Railway Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our railway vehicles and stations. This includes performing routine cleaning tasks, checking and replenishing supplies, and carrying out ad-hoc cleaning tasks as needed.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform regular cleaning tasks on railway vehicles and stations
- Check and replenish supplies as required
- Carry out ad-hoc cleaning tasks as needed
- Apply prescribed methods of work (product handling/machine operation)
- Execute railway vehicle movements
- Put railway vehicles into service and park them
- Follow and apply work instructions and directives, including safety protocols
- Inform the manager of any anomalies found
- Work closely and actively with colleagues
Requirements
- You hold a Category A40 railway permit according to the OCVM or are willing to invest in internal training to obtain one
- You speak fluent French (C1 level), with basic knowledge of German (A1 level) desired
- You are accustomed to or willing to work irregular hours, including weekends, nights, and public holidays
- You are in good physical condition and demonstrate mental resilience
- You hold a Category B driving license
