The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hospital facilities. Your duties will include cleaning, mopping, and dusting all areas, as well as floor care, laundry tasks, and waste removal.

About You

We are looking for an individual with a Grade 12/GED or equivalent work experience. Effective communication skills are essential, and preference will be given to applicants with cleaning and floor care experience. Competencies in other languages, particularly French, are an asset.

Hours

This is a casual relief position, offering flexible scheduling to suit your needs.

Compensation and Incentives

As a Maintenance Technician, you can expect a competitive hourly rate of $19.26-$20.02, plus eligibility for our benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
