About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our team at Boston Pizza Athabasca. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room and kitchen areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Keep records of food quantities used.
  • Package take-out food.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
  • Take customers' orders.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Handle and store cleaning products.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
