Job Summary

Bombardier is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Commander to join our team. As a key member of our flight operations team, you will be responsible for conducting production ground and flight tests to validate the airworthiness of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct production ground and flight tests to ensure the airworthiness of our aircraft.
  • Perform demonstration flights to potential customers to showcase the capabilities of our aircraft.
  • Conduct customer acceptance flights to ensure that our aircraft meet the requirements of our customers.
  • Carry out ferry flights to transport our aircraft to various locations.
  • Perform pre and post-flight activities to ensure the safe operation of our aircraft.
  • May be required to work irregular hours and travel on short notice.
  • May be required to support the Bombardier Flight Test Center.
  • May be required to carry out manual and other documentation review.
Requirements
  • Hold a valid Canadian ATPL and a Class 1 medical.
  • Have a minimum of 3,500 hours of total flight time with 500 hours PIC on large multi-engine aircraft.
  • Have flexibility to work irregular hours and to travel on short notice.
  • Have previous flight test experience or a strong technical background in certification or training.
  • A US ATP is an asset.
  • Have the right to work and live in Canada.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have the ability to work with a team.
  • Have the ability to execute the duties of an aircraft commander while maintaining a positive and cooperative relationship with the crew and management.
  • Be able to manage stressful situations.
  • Have working knowledge of MS Office.
