Second in Command Pilot

About the Role
The Second in Command will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft. As a key member of our flight operations team, you will be responsible for assisting the Captain in flight planning, preparations, and other critical tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in flight planning and preparation to ensure timely and safe departures.
- Carry out duties assigned by the Captain, including navigation, communication, and aircraft systems management.
- Perform other tasks as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to maintain the highest level of safety and efficiency.
Requirements
- Hold a valid Transport Canada ATPL or Commercial Pilot License with IATRA or SAMRA/SARON exams.
- Thorough knowledge of Canadian aviation regulations (CARs) and medical certificate of category class 1.
- Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident status with no restrictions to travel in the United States or other countries served by Air Transat.
- Aviation college diploma, an asset.
