Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Tomas the Cook / Specklebellys pub. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain the bar area, including glassware and draft beer systems.
  • Serve food and beverages to customers, including recommendations on drink selections.
  • Supervise food and beverage servers and other staff to ensure efficient service.
  • Manage inventory and control of bar stock, including ordering and storing products.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including mixed drinks, wine, and beer.
  • Schedule staff and ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
  • Operate a cash register and handle customer transactions.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing demands.
  • Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff.
