Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Planning Technician to join our team at Seaspan ULC. As a Planning Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of projects in our shipbuilding yard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project timelines and resources to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets and cost estimates, analyzing data to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare and review project reports, providing insights to stakeholders and team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop business applications and improve processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in planning and resource management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, planning, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Word.
