About the Role

The BC Public Service Agency is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Director of Operations. This key role will play a crucial part in planning and managing various services that support children, youth, and families, particularly those facing vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate service delivery standards to ensure high-quality practices across Child & Youth Mental Health, Child Protection, and Family Services.
  • Lead strategic initiatives and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to innovate and enhance integrated care models that strengthen our communities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Child and Youth Care, or Masters in Clinical Psychology, Educational Counselling Psychology, or Social Work, or in a related field.
  • Supervisory or management experience.
  • Experience in program and service delivery planning/evaluation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive progressively responsible experience in one or more of the following fields: child & youth mental health, child protection, family services, children and youth with support needs, aboriginal services, childcare, child welfare administration and/or youth justice.
  • Experience delivering and leading Child and Youth Mental Health Services.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in a supervisory/management role.
