About the Role:

Viesca Residence is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Patient Care Assistant to join our team. As a Patient Care Assistant, you will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve meals, as well as assist with feeding
  • Accompany residents on outdoor activities and provide companionship
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including making beds and maintaining resident rooms

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
