At WSP in Canada, we're seeking an Indigenous Engagement Specialist to support our clients in meeting their project objectives. As a key member of our team, you'll work collaboratively to provide exceptional stakeholder engagement services, leveraging your expertise in Indigenous and community relations.

This is a hybrid role that requires travel for client service delivery work. You'll be based in Toronto, ON, but will have opportunities to work with clients across the country. We offer a dynamic and inclusive work environment, with a focus on collaboration and employee well-being.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Consulting with public, private businesses, government agencies, and Indigenous groups to support projects
  • Providing logistical and organizational administrative support, including capturing meeting notes and preparing meeting agendas
  • Developing communication materials and engagement strategies for various sectors
  • Supporting clients in the field, working with individuals, communities, and local governments
  • Overseeing and facilitating stakeholder meetings, public events, and community liaison committees
