Indigenous Justice Support Specialist

The Indigenous Justice Support Specialist will play a key role in supporting Indigenous and non-Indigenous clients in the Bail Verification Supervision Program. This position requires strong communication skills, empathy, and an understanding of roles and functions of probation and parole officers.
Responsibilities:- Supervise Bail Court orders and monitor bail release conditions.
- Provide support to clients through a culturally sensitive approach.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary social justice team to address client needs.
- A degree in Social Justice Services or related field.
- Experience working with Indigenous populations and knowledge of Indigenous culture.
- Ability to engage people to build trust and rapport.
