Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at Elite Sofa Designs. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring smooth operations, and driving efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Planning and Coordination
    • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of products
  • Team Management
    • Lead and motivate a team of production staff to achieve high-quality results
    • Provide guidance and training to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet customer expectations
    • Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock for production
    • Implement just-in-time inventory management to reduce waste and excess stock
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes
    • Collaborate with the operations team to drive efficiency and productivity
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a production or operations role
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Basic math skills and attention to detail
