We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at Elite Sofa Designs. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes and overseeing the production team.
Key Responsibilities- Production Planning and Coordination
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and production targets
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of products
- Team Management
- Supervise and mentor production team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members
- Quality Control
- Implement quality control processes to ensure products meet customer expectations
- Investigate and resolve quality issues in a timely manner
- Inventory Management
- Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock for production
- Conduct regular inventory audits to identify areas for improvement
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with other departments to implement changes and ensure smooth implementation
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
The Production Supervisor will work in a manufacturing environment with a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. The successful candidate will be required to work in a team environment and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
