Job Overview

The Payroll Analyst is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll operations. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, and taxes, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure payroll data is accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure payroll data is aligned with company policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in employment and tax laws, and implement necessary changes to our payroll processes.
  • Prepare and analyze payroll reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees and management, responding to payroll-related inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll operations, preferably in a multijurisdictional environment.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations, including Canadian tax laws.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with HR, finance, and management teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
