Digital Sales Strategist for Home and Consumer Electronics

As a seasoned sales professional, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth and expanding our advertising solutions in the Canadian market. With Amazon Ads, you will have access to unparalleled first-party insights, a vast network of publishers and exchanges, and a unique opportunity to work with brands that delight customers and deliver meaningful results.

Sales and Customer Service: Deliver exceptional sales and customer service to mid-sized advertisers and their agencies in Canada, leveraging your industry expertise and consultative approach to meet their business goals.

Leadership and Strategy: Demonstrate internal leadership across account teams and partner groups, building and executing comprehensive full-funnel strategies from big ideas to analytical recommendations.

Client Relationships and Revenue Growth: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels within mid-to-large size advertiser organizations, retaining and growing revenue from existing advertisers while identifying net new revenue opportunities.

Amazon Advertising Opportunities: Stay up-to-date on Amazon's display, video, and programmatic advertising offerings, recommending relevant solutions to help our advertisers achieve their goals.

Sales CRM and Forecasting: Utilize Sales CRM tools to track key account information, sales progress, and forecast quarterly quota goals, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Industry Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of Hardlines categories (e.g., Home, Floor Care, Kitchen, Toys, Consumer Electronics) to provide tailored solutions to our advertisers.

This role requires a minimum of 5 days per week working from our Toronto office, inclusive of client meetings, and occasional travel as needed. To be successful, you will need 5+ years of relevant work experience, including:

  • Experience gaining access to new stakeholders, generating leads, and closing sales
  • Experience in digital media and/or brand management
  • Industry experience working with Hardlines categories
  • Experience identifying and aggregating trends, past performance metrics, and insights into effective narratives
  • Experience building client and agency ad partnerships
