Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at THE BRAMPTON NILGIRIS INC. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that our restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high-quality standards.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that our customers receive their orders in a timely manner.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
- Hire food service staff to ensure that our restaurant has the necessary personnel to meet customer demand.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure that our restaurant operates within budget.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
- Prepare and submit reports to management to ensure that our restaurant is operating efficiently.
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff and customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
