Speech-language Pathologist Opportunity at Royal Inland Hospital

We are seeking a Relief Part Time Speech-language Pathologist to join our dynamic team at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, BC. This is a relief position until the return of the incumbent on August 29, 2025.

As a Speech-language Pathologist, you will work directly with clients and/or with their caregivers or other persons who regularly interact with these people for the purpose of creating environments that promote optimal communication and swallowing for adults requiring this care. You will contribute to the organization and the overall goals of the department/program quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research and education.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and intervene in communication and swallowing disorders in adults
Collaborate with clients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Contribute to quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education within the department/program

Requirements:

Master's degree in Speech-language Pathology or equivalent
Registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to connect with people from all types of backgrounds
