About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Director to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading the accounting function and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial guidance and leadership to the accounting team, ensuring the effective management of financial operations and the achievement of business objectives.
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to senior management on financial performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial plans and budgets to support business growth and objectives.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of accountants and financial analysts, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure the team's success.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, laws, and standards, including GAAP and SOX.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in financial leadership roles, with a strong background in accounting and financial analysis.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide insights to senior management.
