We are currently seeking a highly skilled Civil Technician to join our Halifax office location for a 4-month contract. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals and gain valuable experience in general construction activities, materials testing, and inspection services.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for laboratory testing of aggregates, soils, concrete, and asphalt, as well as field testing and sampling of these materials. Additionally, they will perform other duties as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Laboratory testing of aggregates, soils, concrete, and asphalt
  • Field testing and sampling of aggregates, soils, concrete, and asphalt
  • Other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Experience with materials testing and inspection
  • Experience working in civil construction is considered an asset
  • Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
