About This Role

This contract position with RPS involves working as a Wellsite Geologist in Canada, supporting our growing client base operating in the WCSB. The role requires expertise in onshore drilling environments.


Key Responsibilities
  • Understanding of formation evaluation, drilling, and petrophysical data
  • Experience drilling horizontal wells in Mannville Group heavy oil formations (Clearwater, McMurray, Sparky, Lloydminster, etc.), Deep Basin, and Southern Alberta (Brooks area)
  • Candidates highly proficient using StarSteer preferred for some projects
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Geology

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications.
