Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Appliance Service Technician Apprentice to join our team at ADVANCE APPLIANCE LTD. As an apprentice, you will assist in the diagnosis and repair of household appliances, working closely with experienced technicians to develop your skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct voltage, resistance, and other tests using electrical test equipment to diagnose faults in appliances.
  • Diagnose faults using testing devices and replace faulty components to ensure appliances are functioning properly.
  • Advise customers on work performed and the condition of their equipment, providing excellent customer service.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in appliance repair or a related field.
  • Work setting: On-site customer service, working in various locations.
  • Security and safety: Bondable, criminal record check required.
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal suitability: Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, initiative, organized, team player.
