We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Specialist to join our team at Sunny Acre Farms Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for plant, cultivate and irrigate crops, as well as operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
About the JobThe Agricultural Specialist will work in a rural area with remote locations, handling heavy loads and working in dusty environments. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities- Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry
- Clean the crops
- Apply the technique of hoeing between the row
- No degree, certificate or diploma required
- Experience an asset
- Team player with excellent communication skills
This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week. Relocation costs covered by employer.
CompensationThe estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $55,000 - $65,000 based on industry standards and location.
