CASA Mental Health is committed to providing high-quality mental health services to children, youth, and families. We're seeking a School-Based Mental Health Clinician to join our team and make a difference in the lives of students.

About the Role:

The School-Based Mental Health Clinician will work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and other professionals to provide mental health services to students. This includes conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing counseling and therapy sessions, and collaborating with parents and caregivers to ensure comprehensive support. The Clinician will also participate in staff training and education to promote awareness and understanding of mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Provide counseling and therapy sessions to students
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support
  • Participate in staff training and education
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field
  • A minimum of three to five years of recent experience working with children and youth in a mental health setting
  • Membership in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta or College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta
  • Knowledge of the Health Information Act and professional organization's ethics and standards of practice

This is a permanent position with CASA Mental Health, offering a competitive salary range of $39.49 - $51.99 per hour, Monday to Friday, 7.25 hours per day.
