About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team at Log Barn 1912 Enterprises Corp. As a key member of our agricultural operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm, ensuring the health and well-being of our livestock, and maintaining the highest standards of farm safety and bio-security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Animal Health and Welfare
    • Diagnose and treat livestock health issues in a timely and effective manner.
    • Monitor animal health and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Farm Operations
    • Direct and supervise agricultural crops deleafing activities.
    • Oversee the process of hoeing crops and ensure optimal crop yields.
    • Supervise milking operations and ensure work is done correctly.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of livestock performance and farm operations.
    • Provide regular reports to management on farm activities and performance.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers.
    • Ensure that all team members are aware of and adhere to farm safety and bio-security procedures.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a farm or agricultural setting.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule
    • 40 hours per week.
