About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Inside Sales Representative to join our team at Guillevin International in Val d'Or, Quebec. This is a regular, full-time opportunity with great career prospects.

Job Description

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in selling products, processing customer orders, providing pricing and technical information, and finding solutions to customer problems in a timely manner.

Main Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, listen attentively to their needs, and provide timely responses.
  • Negotiate special prices and conditions with customers and/or vendors as per established criteria.
  • Take necessary action to resolve customer service issues and follow up on commitments.
  • Proactively suggest associated and/or alternate products to meet customer needs.
  • Promote focus product items to generate incremental sales.
  • Maintain accurate knowledge of various product lines and broaden system knowledge.
Requirements
  • One to three years of industry experience or a combination of relevant training and experience.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Demonstrated people skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of products and services sold within our market.
  • Customer service driven.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
