Job Description

This Stock Associate role requires individuals who enjoy working at Toronto Pearson Airport and can commit to open availability, including weekends and statutory holidays. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, lift and move up to 50 lbs, and possess excellent time-management skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent education.
  • The ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel, and carry.
  • Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Two to four years of previous warehouse experience, with a focus on inventory management.

Purpose and Specific Requirements

The primary responsibility of this Stock Keeper role is to control receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods from the local warehouse. This involves monitoring detailed receiving and checking of products, comparing them to original orders, and advising of discrepancies. Additionally, the stock keeper must prepare delivery orders according to the replenishment system, deliver testers/tastings/GWPs according to approved procedures, review expiry dates at the warehouse to avoid stock losses, and communicate any findings to the Stock Supervisor or General Manager.
