Product Sourcing Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Merchandise Coordinator to join our team at Shell College Park. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers, ensuring adequate stock levels, and overseeing the distribution of merchandise to our outlets.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices and ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and monitor stock to prevent overstocking or understocking.
- Oversee the distribution of merchandise to our outlets, ensuring that products are delivered on time and in good condition.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Review the requirements of our establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase, taking into account sales trends and customer demand.
- Select and purchase merchandise for resale, ensuring that products meet our quality standards and are competitively priced.
This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, with repetitive tasks and a high level of organization required to succeed in this role.
Requirements- Organized and detail-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
