Vascular Technologist II

Albany Medical Center is seeking a skilled Vascular Technologist II to join our team. As a key member of our vascular laboratory, you will be responsible for performing noninvasive diagnostic procedures to detect vascular disease.
Responsibilities:- Perform patient assessment of signs and symptoms, including documentation of patient medical and surgical history, medications, and presenting symptoms.
- Conduct vascular testing, including duplex ultrasound examinations, pulse volume recordings, segmental Doppler pressure measurements, and treadmill stress studies.
- Perform vascular testing at various on-site locations and transport lab equipment as needed.
- Collect and analyze ultrasound data and report findings.
- Assist with general clerical duties, including filing, copying, and scheduling appointments.
- Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of laboratory facilities.
- Assist with clinical research protocols, including data collection and retrieval.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Successful completion of the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography registry examination in both Vascular Technology and Vascular Ultrasound Principles.
- Minimum of five years experience in a vascular laboratory or two years experience in a vascular laboratory plus five years experience in a general ultrasound department.
