Compensation: $20 hour (full-time / permanent)

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Contents Technician to join our team at On Side Restoration. As a key member of our disaster recovery and restoration team, you will play a vital role in helping clients restore their personal and commercial properties to their pre-disaster state.

The Job - Contents Technician

As a Contents Technician, you will work closely with customers to assess and restore their contents, including packing and cataloging items, creating inventory lists, and using Encircle Restoration Software. You will also be responsible for cleaning contents and structures, as well as cleaning fabrics and textiles.

What You Bring:

  • An optimistic outlook and a genuine desire to help others
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift, carry, and pack boxes
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving abstract
  • Ability to communicate in English or French (QC) at an intermediate level

Past Industry Experience:

Hotel, hotel housekeeper, tourism, hospitality, dry cleaning, laundry services, restaurant, restaurant manager, supervisor, server, customer service, waitress, waiter, bartender, bartending, banquet, concierge, travel, tour guide, sales, industrial or commercial cleaner, mover, packer.

Other Stuff That'll Help You Succeed:

  • You genuinely enjoy working with people in a team environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English both written and verbal

Of Note:

Disasters can strike at any time, so a rotating schedule of 24/7 after-hours on-call work may be required.
