We are seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background and a passion for delivering exceptional care to children with complex orthopaedic conditions. The ideal candidate will have a subspecialty interest in lower extremity reconstruction and/or management of paediatric bone tumours.

Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon

The Department of Surgery, Division of Orthopaedic Surgery, at SickKids is inviting applications for a full-time academic Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical, scholarly, and administrative duties, including a substantial commitment to the care of children with lower extremity deformities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, a passion for delivering exceptional care to children, and a commitment to advancing the field of paediatric orthopaedic surgery. The successful candidate will be expected to complement the Division's scholarly productivity and contribute to the development of innovative research and education programs.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing clinical care to children with complex orthopaedic conditions
  • Conducting scholarly research and publishing in peer-reviewed journals
  • Participating in educational programs and teaching residents and fellows
  • Contributing to the development of innovative research and education programs

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • A strong academic background in paediatric orthopaedic surgery
  • A subspecialty interest in lower extremity reconstruction and/or management of paediatric bone tumours
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills
  • A commitment to advancing the field of paediatric orthopaedic surgery
