About the Role

SickKids, a world-renowned paediatric healthcare centre, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our team. As a key member of our Division of Orthopaedic Surgery, you will be responsible for providing exceptional clinical care to children with lower extremity deformities and other complex orthopaedic conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality clinical care to children with lower extremity deformities and other complex orthopaedic conditions
  • Participate in the emergency Orthopaedic call schedule at SickKids
  • Contribute to the Division's scholarly productivity through research, education, and global health initiatives
  • Provide effective and collaborative leadership at the hospital, provincial, national, and international level
Requirements
  • MD, MBBS, or equivalent degree
  • Recent fellowship training or established international reputation in Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery
  • Eligibility for appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher at the University of Toronto
  • Eligibility for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
What We Offer

Competitive base remuneration in the range of $352,614 - $500,000 for 35 hours work per week, plus on-call responsibilities and an equal distribution of billing overages. Support for relocation expenses may be offered.
