Job Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator will provide administrative assistance to the plant management team, oversee attendance monitoring, maintain employee files, and ensure compliance with relevant HR policies and labor laws. Additionally, this position involves assisting with job description updates, supporting the OH&S coordinator, and ensuring consistency with the collective agreement.

Key Responsibilities:
- The following list outlines duties and responsibilities but is not exhaustive:
- Oversee recruitment processes, conduct interviews, reference checks, orientation, and set up new employees in Dayforce.
- Provide HR administrative support to the plant management team where feasible.
- Monitor and maintain attendance programs, prepare letters, reports, etc.
- Assist in updating job descriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations for all positions.
- Collaborate closely with the Plant HR Manager/Supervisor and Corporate HR.
- Administer and ensure consistency with CA as applicable.
- Maintain both electronic and hard copy employee files.
- Ensure HR-related filing is up-to-date.
- Ensure consistency of HR policies and procedures.
- Support the OH&S coordinator and claims management.
- Perform other duties as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary diploma in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of related administrative experience is desired.
- Understanding of Employment Standards/labour law is an asset.
- Previous experience in unionized manufacturing work environments is preferred.
- High sense of urgency, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize effectively are essential.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, time management, and multi-tasking skills are necessary.
- Highly proficient computer skills, e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, are required.
- Must be able to work flexible hours when required.
- Previous experience with Ceridian/Dayforce is an asset.

Benefits:
We offer competitive salaries based on geographical location, applicable experience, and skillset. The estimated salary range for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum.
