Strategic Human Resources Partner

Ainsworth, a rapidly growing multi-trade company, seeks a skilled Strategic Human Resources Partner to drive business results and build a high-performance culture.
Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, Western Canada, this role will act as a strategic advisor in areas such as Employee Relations, Employment Law, Employee Engagement, Communication, Change Management, and interpretation of HR Policies.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with leaders to develop a people-focused culture that drives business outcomes.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a diverse and inclusive environment.
- Analyze gaps between business needs and people capabilities, driving appropriate actions to address them.
- Facilitate talent review and succession planning processes, focusing on achieving diversity and creating developmental plans for high-potential staff.
- Provide support in performance counseling, employee retention, policy interpretation, human rights, and employment legislation.
- Offer coaching and guidance to Supervisors and Managers on employee relations matters, including attendance management, policy violations, and progressive discipline.
- Lead investigations into employee relations, ethics, and compliance issues.
- Engage stakeholders to deliver comprehensive solutions and drive organization-level change/transformation initiatives.
- Interpret and communicate HR policies to managers and employees, providing support and coaching.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- 5+ years of experience in internal/external client-facing roles.
- Strong communications skills and ability to navigate multiple organizational levels.
- High comfort level interacting with external partners.
