Job Title: Property Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Administrator to join our team at RioCan. As a key member of our operations team, you will provide administrative support and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our properties.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect, reconcile, and enter monthly rents in Yardi.
  • Maintain and update tenant files, tenant/vendor insurance tracking, and utility account tracking.
  • Prepare correspondence as necessary.
  • Assist in the preparation of service contracts and temporary lease contracts.
  • Assist in resolving tenant issues, including reviewing tenant leases.
  • Provide additional assistance in resolving day-to-day issues as required.
  • Maintain accounting and invoicing procedures in conjunction with Head Office, including processing supplier invoices, entering purchase orders into Yardi, and preparing monthly tenant service invoices.
  • Actively participate in accounts receivable meetings with the General Manager and AR Department, ensuring action items are addressed and followed up on.
  • Collect and coordinate all information for proposed assignment packages within the West GTA.
  • Other duties and projects as required.
Qualifications:
  • College diploma or certificate in office administration or business/accounting.
  • Three years of previous relevant experience in accounts receivable/accounts payable.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical, numeracy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in real estate and/or property management.
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
