About the Role

Falcon Xpress Transportation Group Inc. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our dedicated fleet. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Logistics: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo through tarping and other measures.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including accident or incident reports, bills of lading, driver logbooks, and inspection reports.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess an AZ class license, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, and a Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Environment: Willingness to travel cross-border, travel for extended periods, and work overnight.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude.
