About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about food service and patient care. As a Food Service I, you'll be responsible for:

  • Preparing and serving meals to patients and residents
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment, including equipment, dishes, and serving areas
  • Working collaboratively with our team to deliver outstanding patient care

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent
  • Physical ability to lift food, supplies, and equipment up to 46lbs and push/pull meal carts up to 250lbs
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods

Preferred Qualifications:

We're looking for candidates with:

  • Customer service experience
  • Food service experience, preferably in a hospital or long-term care environment
  • Experience with inventory management and industrial food service equipment
  • Food Safe Certificate or equivalent
  • WHMIS training
