About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team in Toronto, Canada. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, examining, replacing, or repairing electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including motors, generators, and control systems
  • Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications to determine the layout of electrical equipment installations
  • Test electrical and electronic equipment for continuity of current, voltage, and resistance
  • Maintain and repair switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors
  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
  • Install, maintain, and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices
Requirements
  • Completion of secondary school is required
  • Trade Certification or eligibility to obtain Trade Certification
  • 3+ years of working experience in the trade
  • Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Accurate, organized, and team player with client focus and flexibility
