Job Title: Drywall Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team at Kami Drywall & Renovation LTD. As a Drywall Finisher, you will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to create a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to drywall sheets
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces
  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
  • Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings
  • Attach metal or gypsum lath to studs or furring
  • Install corner beads and wire mesh around beams to which plaster is to be applied
  • Install vapor barriers and thermal and sound insulation
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements:
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in drywall finishing
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a dusty, noisy, and outdoors environment
  • Ability to relocate to various locations
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work under pressure
Working Conditions:
  • 40 hours per week
  • Permanent position
  • English language
