About Kami Drywall & Renovation LTD.

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team. As a Drywall Finisher, you will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to create a smooth finish on walls and ceilings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for drywall installation projects
  • Supervise other workers to ensure high-quality finishes
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to create a smooth finish
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces to ensure durability
  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to ensure a precise fit
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency for a smooth finish
  • Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings to enhance sound quality and appearance
  • Attach metal or gypsum lath to studs or furring to provide a solid base for plastering
  • Install corner beads and wire mesh around beams to ensure a secure and durable finish
  • Install vapour barriers and thermal and sound insulation to ensure a comfortable and healthy indoor environment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drywall finishing
  • Equivalent experience in a related field
