Job Title: Director, Epidemiology - Hematology and Nephrology

 

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced epidemiologist to join our team as Director, Epidemiology - Hematology and Nephrology. In this role, you will be responsible for providing global direction and expertise for epidemiology support across our therapeutic areas of Hematology and Nephrology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement epidemiology plans, ensuring efficient execution and delivery of high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to provide epidemiological perspectives and support strategic decision-making.
  • Represent the Epidemiology and Real World Science department in interactions with external stakeholders, including scientific advisory boards and regulatory authorities.
  • Maintain awareness of epidemiology trends, regulatory requirements, and advancements in pharmacoepidemiology methods.
  • Participate in corporate cross-functional business and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • PhD/DSc/DrPH in Epidemiology or MPH/MSc in Epidemiology with a minimum of 6 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or consulting environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality, and scientific rigor, with the ability to assess and address team member needs.
  • Experience with statistical software packages, such as SAS, and a thorough understanding of epidemiology and relevant biostatistics methods.
  • Record of high-quality publications in peer-reviewed journals and 2 years of line management or supervisory experience.
